My aunt is a Persian lady, used to bake similar cookies for us (don't exactly remember what she called them as we never paid attention to names back then :) ) One of my other favorites is "Lamb Dhansak". My aunt used to make it every Sunday! Does your mom cook that as well?

And I have to tell you that I am absolutely enjoying reading your blogs. Great Recipes with Stunning Images. It's like breathing fresh air. Very Inspiring! Keep it up girl :)

Sarah comments on Coconut Pancakes with Ginger and Lime - Sunny days are ahead

Nazila, these look absolutely delicious and your pics are stunning! I've been pretty much looking for a shepherds' pie recipe for about the past 10 years. I use to enjoy it in high school, but I never really had the courage to go about and attempt it. My cooking pretty much consists of pasta, sandwiches, and fried rice (I'm Asian after all.)

I bookmarked this nice recipe you have, and will attempt it when the craving for shepherds pie becomes too strong to bear. I will update you on how successful I am. This looks like a lot of hard procedures, so I hope I will manage it! The pictures look delicious. Maybe you can bring me a sample sometime in class ;)

Cinnimin comments on Orange Almond Cake infused with cardamon - New Year's Keeps on

I want to eat my way through your blog. This recipe sounds and looks so delish. It reminds me of dinner at my Tio Abbas' house.
